
Kristin Greeley Thompson

Ms. Thompson represents individual Oneida Indian Nation members in family and matrimonial, vehicle and traffic, estate, criminal matters, and various civil matters.
Prior to joining Member Legal Services, she was employed by Legal Services of Central New York, Inc., in Syracuse where she represented low-income clients and persons with disabilities in civil matters, including landlord/tenant, family court, and special education issues. She was also an associate attorney at Ferrara, Fiorenza, Larrison, Barrett & Reitz, P.C., in East Syracuse. While there, she represented school districts and municipalities, primarily handling issues concerning students with disabilities and property tax assessment challenges.
Ms. Thompson is a graduate of the State University College at Geneseo, where she earned a B.A. in English. She earned her law degree from the State University at Buffalo School of Law. She is admitted to practice in New York State and before the United States District Court for the Northern District of New York.
Ms. Thompson is a former member of the Board of Directors of the Onondaga County Bar Association. She is a current member of the Board of Directors of the Onondaga County Bar Foundation, serving as its President in 2007. She is also an Elected Delegate to the New York State Bar House of Delegates, representing the Fifth Judicial District. She is a volunteer attorney for the legal clinics at Vera House and Franciscan Northside Ministries in Syracuse. Additionally, she previously served on the Boards of Open Hand Theater and International Mask and Puppet Museum and the Zonta Club of Syracuse.
